Planned Giving

Planned Giving

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver" 2 Corinthians 9:7

St Flannan's Catholic Parish is responsible for generating its own income each year.

Parishioners contribute the vast majority of the funds necessary to keep our Parish running, and we thank them for their generosity and commitment.

From the funds collected the Parish must pay for all of its activities including providing for the Parish Priest, the running of the Parish Office including payment of staff, the maintenance and improvements to all parish buildings,  levies to the Archdiocese and all liturgical and sacramental expenses.

If possible we would ask parishioners to give via Direct Debit and Credit Card options.

The manual counting and banking of monies, and processing of Planned Giving envelopes represents a much higher administrative cost to our Parish.

An annual receipt for Planned Giving may be issued upon request, though the contributions are presently not tax deductible.

A Planned Giving Program is run which assists in financial planning within the Parish.

Periodic pledges can be made – either weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually.

The pledge is then fulfilled in one of three ways:

To join the Planned Giving Program, complete and return one of the above forms. Should you have any questions about the Planned Giving Program, please contact the Parish Office.
